Mardi gras parade

Friends of Children’s Hospital hosted a Mardi Gras Parade at Children’s of Mississippi on Fat Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Members of the Child Life team, Friends staff, and board members paraded the halls tossing mardi gras beads and passing out goodie bags. Friends also delivered 16 king cakes from Broadstreet Bakery to each floor and various departments of the hospital.

Century Club Check Presentation

We spent a heartwarming morning on Tuesday, December 5th at Children’s of Mississippi. 30th Annual trustmark foch golf tournament recap

The 30th Annual Trustmark Friends of Children’s Hospital Golf Tournament held on Monday, October 30, was a huge success as 300 golfers turned out for an afternoon of golf and fun. In recognition of Scarbrough’s service, the board of directors gifted him with the first Friends car tag to be issued. (The tag, which was issued to Dr. Owen “Bev” Evans, the founder of Friends, remained on Evans’ Jeep until it was sold earlier this year and gifted to the Friends office.) A bench in front of the children’s hospital also will be dedicated to Scarbrough, and a tree in the Rainbow Garden will be dedicated to John and Jeanne Scarbrough, in memory of their son Hudson Scarbrough.

Rocky Springs donation

For more than two decades, Rocky Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Terry, MS has been actively supporting Friends of Children’s Hospital through their generous donations.
