Join Friends of Children’s Hospital as we kick off the first-ever Kites and Rainbows 10K, 5K, Fun Run, benefiting the children and families at Childrenās of Mississippi, our stateās only childrenās hospital.
Hosted by Friends of Childrenās Hospital, this event will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, in Starkville, MSācoinciding with the highly anticipated Mississippi State vs. Ole Miss baseball series.
This run is more than just a raceāitās an opportunity for Mississippi to come together for a great cause. Every step taken supports Friends of Childrenās Hospitalās mission to elevate the healthcare experience for children in Mississippi to create hope, smiles, and a place where patients can be kids.

frequently asked questions
Where do the races start/finish? All races will start and finish in The Junction.
What’s the route for the 5K Run & Aquathon? The 5K Run & Aquathon route will start in The Junction and follow the regular 5K route, with participants stopping at Sanderson Center to swim an 800 meter before finishing the rest of the run route.
Where will I pick up my race packet? Race packet pickup will be announced soon!
