Since 2005, Mississippi drivers have supported the state’s only children’s hospital by purchasing the Friends of Children’s Hospital car tag. More than $5 million has been raised for Children’s of Mississippi as part of the Friends of Children’s Hospital car tag program. For the first time since the program began, a new car tag design has been launched.
Friends of Children’s Hospital hosted it’s 8th Over The Edge event on Thursday, May 2nd in downtown Jackson at Regions Plaza. Friends of Children’s Hospital hosted a Mardi Gras Parade at Children’s of Mississippi on Fat Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Members of the Child Life team, Friends staff, and board members paraded the halls tossing mardi gras beads and passing out goodie bags. Friends also delivered 16 king cakes from Broadstreet Bakery to each floor and various departments of the hospital.
