We hosted our first annual Kites and Rainbows Run Presented by Mutual Federal Credit Union on Saturday, May 10, 2025, in Starkville, Mississippi. Participants raced in a 10K Run, 5K Walk, 5K Run, Fun Run, and Aquathlon on Mississippi State University’s campus and in downtown Starkville. More than 400 racers and generous event sponsors helped Friends raise $77,000 to benefit our state’s only children’s hospital.

Every rainbow needs a little rain, and we certainly got our fair share on race day. Despite the weather, racers were all smiles and sunshine as they crossed the finish line! We would like to thank the Kites and Rainbows sponsors for helping us make this event a huge success.
