grand reopening of center for cancer and blood disorders

On Friday, August 23, board members and staff from Friends attended the Grand Reopening of the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children’s of Mississippi. Children’s reports that the center’s renovation cost $5 million to complete, and Friends is honored to have sponsored the new infusion suite. Patients now have spacious, private spaces to receive treatment. With easy-to-access power outlets and new televisions, patients have a way to entertain themselves throughout long infusion sessions. The renovation of the infusion suite also allows more separation between older and younger patients.

The entire center has a modern, light, and cheerful ambiance that reflects the hope and positivity of their first-class staff. Friends would like to thank our donors and supporters for helping make our gift to Children’s of Mississippi possible!
