Friends of Children’s Hospital welcomes three new board members for the 2024-2025 board term: Adam Adcock, MD; Michael Boerner, and Katie Cannada Nicholas, MD.
Adam Adcock, MD
Adam is a pediatrician at The Children’s Clinic in Flowood. He is originally from the Jackson area. He completed his undergraduate education at Mississippi College, and his medical school and pediatric residency training at UMMC. Adam currently lives in Madison with his wife, Megan, and their five children.
Michael Boerner
Michael is Principal at Wier Boerner Allin Architecture. He received a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Mississippi State University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in Fine Arts from Millsaps College. Michael and his wife, Katherine ,currently live in Jackson with their children.
KATIE CANNADA NICHOLAS, MD
Katie is an interventional radiologist at Lakeland Radiologists. She is originally from the Jackson area. She went to medical school at George Washington School of Medicine and completed her residency at Johns Hopkins. She currently lives in Jackson with her husband, Richard, and their children.
