For more than two decades, Rocky Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Terry, MS has been actively supporting Friends of Children’s Hospital through their generous donations. Janice Taylor, the church’s Financial Secretary, and Sister Naomi Weathersby have played vital roles in driving these contributions. Sadly, Sister Weathersby passed away in 2021, but her dedication to helping children in need at the hospital was remarkable. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy has inspired her church community to continue the tradition she started more than 20 years ago. In a special ceremony at the church in July, the congregation presented a donation to Friends for $1,620.
